Social skills training for children

When your child is dealing with social and emotional issues it can feel very isolating. This is made even worse if you don’t have a network of social support or opportunities to connect with people in the same boat.

If you have concerns that your child or adolescent isn’t meeting their potential in one or more areas – friendships, learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing – we can help you find tools and strategies to help.

These are some programs I have found helpful.

The Best of FriendsTM (BoF) program gives children the knowledge, skills and confidence to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, show empathy for others, develop and maintain friendships and make good decisions.

BaseCamp® is an innovative anxiety program for children aged 7 to 12 years. BaseCamp® draws on decades of experience, combining a sound theoretical cognitive-behavioural approach with effective, engaging and child-centred activities.
